Meet Kate Cotter

Kate Cotter has been researching psychedelic medicines for over 15 years and believes they hold great potential for healing trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and more—in addition to offering profound opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. Kate is dedicated to bringing awareness, building community, and providing education around psychedelics. As Director of Sierra Psychedelic Society, she has been advocating for policy reform on the issue of psychedelics, and believes that ending the War on Drugs is a critical matter of criminal justice reform.

Kate’s passion for psychedelic therapy dovetails with her long-standing interest in depth psychology, Jungian theory, neuroscience, mindfulness and meditation. She is a professional singer-songwriter and life-long creative, a certified yoga instructor, and a trained flow state coach. Kate holds degrees in Religion and French.
